After months of intense development, it’s here: Kalender-Sync enters its closed beta phase.
What is Kalender-Sync?
Kalender-Sync solves a problem almost everyone knows: you use Outlook for work, Google Calendar privately, and maybe an Apple calendar too — and lose track. Kalender-Sync connects these calendars and keeps them automatically in sync.
What the Beta Offers
- Google Calendar + Microsoft Outlook: Bidirectional synchronization via OAuth
- Apple CalDAV: Connection via app-specific passwords
- iCal Feeds: Import of read-only calendars (university schedules, holidays, etc.)
- Delta-Sync: Efficient incremental updates instead of full sync
- Encryption: All credentials stored encrypted with ChaCha20-Poly1305
Next Steps
The beta phase will be used to collect feedback and test stability under real conditions. Also planned:
- Extended configuration options (filters, time windows)
- Team calendar support
- Mobile-optimized web app
