The Problem

In the construction industry, invoice verification is a tedious, error-prone process. Project managers must manually compare bills of quantities (BoQ) with site measurements and cross-check them against submitted invoices — a process that can take hours on complex projects.

The Solution

Zaster automates this process with AI. The tool extracts data from the BoQ, site measurements, and invoices, compares them automatically, and flags discrepancies. Errors and inconsistencies become visible immediately, before an invoice is approved.

How It Works

  1. Document Upload: BoQ, site measurements, and invoice are uploaded as PDFs
  2. AI Extraction: Azure Document Intelligence recognizes and structures data from the documents
  3. Intelligent Matching: OpenAI models compare line items, quantities, and prices across all three documents
  4. Audit Report: Discrepancies and potential errors are presented in a clear overview
