The Problem

Tradespeople are often on the road, on site, or already with a customer when the phone rings. No notes get taken, appointments get forgotten, follow-ups slip through — and the caller is left waiting. Voicemail isn’t a solution because nobody checks it consistently.

The Solution

Meisterfon is an AI-powered phone assistant that answers incoming calls, transcribes them, and sends the owner a concise summary with extracted action items. No request gets lost — even when the phone isn’t within reach.

Core Features

  • Consent-aware call handling: Local phone number, automated greeting with GDPR notice
  • Transcription: Mistral Voxtral (EU-only) — speech-to-text in a single API call
  • Summary & action items: Structured email to the owner immediately after the call
  • Multi-tenant: Every business gets its own number, branding, and compliance bundle
  • CRM integration (planned): Phone match against existing leads/customers, automatic entry for new requests

Technical Highlights

  • Telnyx as telephony provider: Anchor Site Frankfurt for GDPR compliance, local German area codes
  • Mistral Voxtral: EU-sovereign transcription, single API call instead of two hops (Deepgram + LLM)
  • Multi-tenant architecture: Tenant data in DB rather than environment configuration
  • GDPR stack: DPA template for customer onboarding, privacy-policy snippet, consent flow
  • Stack: TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Telnyx, Mistral Voxtral

Status

MVP live in pilot operation with first tradesperson businesses. Onboarding is manual today; the roadmap focuses on self-service setup, CRM integrations, and SMS follow-ups.
