Website ROI: what does a better site return?
Work out how much revenue a higher enquiry rate produces and how many months it takes for a new website to pay for itself.
A website costs once and works every month. What matters isn't the price but how many visitors end up enquiring. A single percentage point changes the maths considerably.

How this is calculated
Visitors times enquiry rate gives enquiries, before and after. The difference times close rate times order value gives the additional monthly revenue. Investment divided by that figure gives the payback period.
A model calculation, not a forecast. It shows the order of magnitude your assumptions produce.

Frequently asked questions
What clients want to know before the first call.
- What does a website cost?
- A company website typically lands between €3,000 and €6,000, a one-pager below that, a full brand presence above it. All ranges and cost drivers are on the pricing page. I work with fixed prices: after the intro call you get a price and a scope I stick to. If your budget doesn't match the plan, I'll say so in the first conversation, not in invoice number three.
- How long does a project take?
- A website is usually live in three to six weeks; a clickable app prototype in one to two. The biggest time factor is rarely the technology. It's content and sign-off on the client side, which is why the quote states exactly what I need from you and when.
- Do you work with small businesses?
- Yes, that's the core of my work. Electricians, farm shops, festivals, practices: clients for whom a big agency is too expensive and a page builder too shallow. You get agency-grade quality with a single point of contact instead of project managers, account managers, and intermediate invoices.
- What happens after launch?
- The site is yours, including access and source code. No hostage-taking. On request I take over ongoing support: updates, small changes, SEO monitoring, and reporting. If you'd rather handle it yourself, you get a walkthrough and documentation.
- Is my data, and my customers' data, safe?
- Data protection isn't an appendix here, it's part of how things are built: EU hosting and forms, cookie-free analytics where possible, encryption for sensitive data. One caveat: I implement this to the best of my knowledge but I don't provide legal advice. Have your privacy policy and data-processing agreements reviewed by a lawyer before you go live.
- Are ads even worth it for my business?
- Sometimes they're not, and then I'll say so. Ads work where there's a clear purchase decision, a good landing page, and clean tracking. At Echo Fields Festival, six days of Meta ads reached around ten percent of Freiburg's population at €0.17 per click. Without those conditions, the money is usually better spent on SEO or the site itself.
- How does working together actually work?
- Intro call, fixed-price quote, build with weekly previews, launch. We coordinate however suits you: phone, WhatsApp, or video call. You don't need to learn a project tool or speak jargon.
- You're in Munich. Do you work with clients elsewhere?
- Yes. I work with clients across German-speaking Europe, mostly remotely via phone, video calls, and shared previews. For kick-offs or on-site photo and video days, I travel by arrangement.
